StackDeal ("we", "us", or "our") operates stackdeal.co, a service that finds and verifies promotional codes for SaaS products. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Email address — only if you voluntarily submit it via our "Notify Me" form. We use this solely to alert you when promo codes become available for a tool you searched.

Usage data — when you interact with StackDeal, we may log anonymized data including: pages visited, SaaS URLs searched, promo codes copied, and affiliate links clicked. This data does not identify you personally.

Technical data — standard server logs may include your IP address, browser user agent, and referring URL. This data is used for security, debugging, and aggregate analytics only.

3. Affiliate Disclosure

StackDeal participates in affiliate programs including PartnerStack, Impact.com, and direct vendor programs. When you click a "Visit Store" link or use a promo code, we may earn a commission from the vendor at no additional cost to you. This commission does not affect the codes we surface or the order in which they appear.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To notify you of newly found promo codes (email only, if provided)
  • To track affiliate click attribution for commission purposes
  • To improve our scraping and verification accuracy
  • To monitor and protect against abuse or misuse of the service

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Supabase — database hosting (supabase.com)
  • Vercel — website hosting and edge functions (vercel.com)
  • Upstash — Redis caching (upstash.com)
  • Affiliate networks — PartnerStack, Impact.com, and direct vendor programs

6. Data Retention

Email addresses submitted via the Notify Me form are retained until you request deletion or we fulfill the notification. Anonymized click and usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

You may request deletion of your email address or any personally identifiable information we hold by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

StackDeal does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We may use minimal session cookies required for the service to function. No cookie consent banner is shown because we do not use non-essential cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

StackDeal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of StackDeal after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
